International Horn Symposium; Ghent, Belgium

As part of the "Girl Power" series featuring horn pieces by female composers, Dr. Kim R. Hagelstein, horn and Jan Huylebroeck, piano will be performing my new horn solo, "Waking-Life."

'Waking-Life', by definition, refers to the awakened state of consciousness, versus the supposed reality of the dream state.  This is a watery and emotional piece that was inspired by my own battles with chronic lucid dreaming.
